Will your dog answer to it?
Nothing you pick leaves this page — the filters, the shortlist and the share link all run in your browser. The “Easy to call” tag marks names of one or two syllables that end in a vowel and don’t rhyme with a training cue; the warning on a card names the cue it clashes with. Both are spelling checks you can see for yourself, not claims about what your dog hears.

Snow, ghosts, and the word for white
The white list runs along three lines. Weather and ice: Snow, Frost, Blizzard, Polar, Everest, Yuki — which is simply the Japanese word for snow. Pale things: Pearl, Ivory, Cotton, Opal, Marshmallow, Vanilla. And the word for "white" itself in several languages — Shiro in Japanese, Blanca and Blanco in Spanish, Bianco in Italian, Gwen in Welsh.
The ghost names are their own small category and they work because of the contrast, not in spite of it: Casper, Ghost, Zero, Phantom. Ghost is Jon Snow's white direwolf in Game of Thrones; Zero is Jack Skellington's dog.
Worth knowing if your dog is white
In dogs, the genes that produce large areas of white are linked to congenital deafness. The association is documented in the piebald pattern — Dalmatians are the textbook case — and in double-merle breedings, where two merle parents can produce a mostly white puppy with hearing and sight problems. White boxers and some white bull terriers carry the same risk.
This is not a reason to avoid a white dog, and it says nothing about a white coat that comes from a different gene — a Samoyed or a West Highland terrier is white for unrelated reasons. It is a reason to ask a breeder what produced the white, and to have hearing checked if a white puppy does not startle at sound. A name does not change any of that; knowing it before you choose a breeder does.
The names in this group that clash with a cue
Not disqualifying — you can keep the name and use a different word for that behaviour. But it is worth knowing on day one rather than in week three:

Blossom rhymes with “come”
FAQ
White dog names, answered
105 in the filter above. The clearest groups are snow and ice (Snow, Frost, Yuki, Polar), pale objects (Pearl, Ivory, Cotton, Opal), and the word for white in another language (Shiro, Blanca, Bianco, Gwen).
In some breeds and some patterns, yes. Congenital deafness is linked to the piebald gene — Dalmatians most famously — and to double-merle breedings. A white coat from a different gene, as in a Samoyed, does not carry that association. Ask what produced the white, and have a vet check hearing if a puppy doesn't react to sound.
Shiro, which is simply "white" and is the standard name for a white dog in Japan. Yuki, "snow", is the other common choice. Both are two syllables ending in a vowel, which is also why they are easy to call.

Named them. Now about all that barking
A name is the one word in the conversation that comes from you. For the rest of it, Dog & Cat Translator Pro plays a bark or meow back when you speak or tap — a bit of fun, not a decoder.
