Dog Translator is an independent iOS app that turns the sounds your dog already makes — the barks, whines, howls and happy woofs — into playful, human-style phrases. Record a moment, get a fun “translation,” and save it to your dog's profile. It's the kind of thing you show your friends and laugh about together.

Built and maintained by an independent iOS developer, the app is designed to be simple and joyful: one big record button, a growing library of dog moods, a profile for every pup in the house, and a history of everything your dog has “said.” Everything happens right on your device.

Dog Translator requires iOS 16.0or later and works on iPhone and iPad. It uses your device's microphone to capture your dog's sounds for the effect.
